Contributing among the largest individual gifts in Indiana State University history was a natural decision for alumnus Todd Osburn and his wife, Caroline Howe. Their $7.5 million planned gift is uniquely structured to both help the most financially strapped students -- those from middle-income families -- and to ensure their professional readiness upon graduation.

A true Sycamore, Michael Simmons, '64, used these qualities to forever change the experience of Indiana State students. He co-founded the Sycamore Tricycle Derby in October 1963 with his good friends, Tom, '64, and Debbie Bareford, '64, GR '67, as a way to keep students on campus during the weekend. Simmons' $3.8 million planned gift to the Michael Simmons Student Activity Endowment will continue to inspire his love of teamwork -- and the lifelong skills it instills -- and will touch countless Sycamores for generations to come.
